Choose your options, then generate a new secret.
Entropy / upper bound (bits)—
Choose 3–12 independently selected words from a bundled English list. The interface language does not translate the generated words. Capitalization and separators add no randomness. Two optional digits add log₂(100) bits.
A heuristic is not a security guarantee. The entropy figure is an upper bound, not measured resistance to guessing. No breach database is queried. Use unique passwords and enable multifactor authentication.

Passwords and PINs are generated or analyzed in browser memory. This application does not send them to the server, save them, put them in URLs or log them. No advertising, analytics, external scripts, cookies or browser storage are used. Copying explicitly writes to your system clipboard; other software or clipboard history may retain it. Navigation clears the interface. The hosting server can receive ordinary technical request data, such as IP address and requested path; its log policy must be verified by the operator before deployment.

A passphrase combines random words for easier reading; a password uses random characters. We use crypto.getRandomValues and unbiased selection rather than Math.random.
